In Legal Color will facilitate free workshops at high schools, colleges/universities, youth/civic organizations, and any other institution that serve young people of color. This form of outreach—known as SpeakerBar—is important because it will actively engage prospective law students of color and educate them about law school and the legal profession.

In addition to accepting individual requests to facilitate SpeakerBar sessions, In Legal Color will contact organizations in order to bring SpeakerBar to their constituents.

SpeakerBar sessions are highly interactive, which is necessary to keep young people of color interested and engaged.

Requesting organizations may choose from a variety of topics depending on the needs and desires of their constituents. SpeakerBar sessions will address the following topics:

• The Admissions Game
  The Law School Admissions Process Explained
  
  
• The Legal Negotiator
  The Life of Litigation Attorneys
  
  
• Not All Lawyers go to Court
  The Life of Transactional Lawyers

Eventually, In Legal Color will provide two and three day SpeakerBar sessions. To reinforce their learning during SpeakerBar sessions, participants will receive materials that they can refer to after their sessions are completed.
